The large cherry hat originating from Kentucky and a small hackberry hat originating from Nebraska. Both hats are designed to be art pieces; however, the large hat can be turned to be wearable. Hats are turned on a wood lathe when the wood is still green. This is then possible to shape the hats in a homemade “shaper”.
